Every dispatcher and call taker knows this to be true and, since the advent of aerial imagery, maps and pictures have been enabling 9-1-1 PSAPs to improve response times, precisely locate callers, identify structures and communicate surrounding hazards to support first responders and emergency managers around the globe. What if this same level of coordination and in-depth, visual situational awareness were also available inside structures as well?

This webinar will discuss new advances in interior, three-dimensional imagery available to support the situational awareness and operational effectiveness of both telecommunicators and responders in the field. Christopher Tarantino, MEP CMCP, has more than ten years experience in emergency response/management and has acted in a variety of positions across the public- and private-sector, including roles at the volunteer, local, county, state and federal levels. Mr. Tarantino is a Subject Matter Expert/Instructor for the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, a Digital Communications Specialist for FEMA, and is the Past Chair of the International Association of Emergency Managers' Emerging Technology Caucus. He is a volunteer firefighter/EMT, a hazardous materials technician and a Rescue Specialist, Hazardous Materials Response Team and Special Operations Unit, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross' Disaster Action & Disaster Public Affairs Teams.

Mr. Tarantino is a certified Crisis Management Communications Professional, a recognized Master Exercise Practitioner, and the founder/CEO of Epicenter Media & Training. His team specializes in training, exercises and support services for the integration of technology in public safety and emergency management. He has trained thousands of emergency management professionals in more than 30 different states in the U.S. and frequently speaks across North America on disaster response, emerging technology and crisis communications.

Heidi McIntosh is an experienced product marketer with 18 years of product management and product marketing experience in a span of industries including medical equipment, consumables and local government.
