Description:This webinar will explore the history of the Standards Development Committee, the process by which standards are created, who should be using them, specific examples of how they have helped agencies overcome challenges, and how you can get involved in the process.
Presenter: Nicola Tidey RPL, ENP, Communications Consultant
Nicki is an engaging objective professional with a progressive leadership style developed over a tenured public safety career. As a former ECC Director, Nicki brings an intimate knowledge of ECC operations. Nicki has specialized in project management for 9-1-1, most recently leading a consolidation effort that included combining land mobile radio and broad band technology, while designing a new public safety facility and developing plans for NG9-1-1 customer premise equipment and computer-aided dispatch upgrades.
Nicki has been involved in the development of industry standards since 2009 and has contributed to many of the training standards that are active today. She is a trained occupational analysis facilitator.
