Session description:
There have been many of books and classes on leadership and
all have been very beneficial to me as well as all those who have read and
applied the principles learned.There is
one book that has taken the art of leadership to a new level this book is The Way
of the Shepherd by Dr. Kevin Leman and William Pentak.In this 50-55 minute session, I will share
the 7 Ancient Secrets to Managing Productive People.The attendee will learn the proven management
principles that, while ancient in origin, are applicable in today's fast-paced,
high-tech world.

their strengths.

Speaker Bio:
I have been employed with the City of Houston since
September 1990, were I have supervised and trained 22 out of the 24yrs employed
with the City.I am a certified APCO
(Association Public Safety Communication Organization) instructor for Basic
Telecommunication, Communication Center Supervisor and Communication Training
Officer in which I have also taken and successfully passed each course. I am an
Associate Trainer for DPS in the instruction of TCIC/NCIC. I am a successful
graduate of APCOs RPL program (Registered Public Safety Leader). I am currently
the 1st Vice President for Texas APCO, I've served on the PST1 curriculum
update committee in 2013/2014.I have
also been on the PDEC committee for several years. I spoke at the 2013 APCO
National conference as a session speaker as well as in the Vendor Hall.I have also taught throughout Texas and have
received very good reviews.I look
forward to the opportunity to share with APCO 2015 attendees.
