APCO International has teamed up with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to host a webinar designed to increase the knowledge of public safety communications professionals as to the potential for, and impact of, cybersecurity issues in the emergency communications environment.

Speakers:
Michael Roskind, US Department of Homeland Security
Michael Roskind currently serves as the NCC Deputy Director, National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center, US Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Roskind previously served with Office of Emergency Communications as Deputy Director. He possesses a wealth of experience in the public safety world, and a detailed understanding of emergency communications issues. He was Deputy Sheriff at the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office in Washington State, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, a naval aviator, and an elected Councilman. He is a long time member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International.
Monty Graham, Defense Intelligence Agency assigned to DHS
Subject matter expert on intentional interference. Monty Graham is a native of Dallas, Texas. Since May 2012, he has been the GPS Jamming and Interference Program Manager for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Cybersecurity Communications integration Center, National Coordinating Center for Communications. Additionally, he coordinates communications infrastructure preparations and response during DHS designated National Special Events. Mr. Graham is detailed to the DHS from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) where he worked as a Senior Intelligence Watch Officer and most recently as a Collection Strategist for GPS Jamming and Interference. Previously Mr. Graham served on active duty as a Naval Intelligence Officer supporting Combatant Commands in Europe and the Pacific. Currently, Mr. Graham is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves where he serves as the Operations Officer for a reserve unit that directly supports the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA. He is former police officer with the Garland Texas Police Department and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Dallas Baptist University and a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster’s University.
