Greetings! I am so excited to have the privilege of being a candidate for APCO 2nd Vice President! I have dreamed of this moment for many years.

I am the Director of the 9-1-1 Center in Chouteau County Montana, Big Sky Country! I will be celebrating 30 years in the profession in August and 22 years as a member of the Leader in Public Safety Communications, APCO International. My center is small but I’ve learned over the many past years talking to my colleagues that regardless of size, we all share common challenges and successes. Although I am a Director now, I spent 17 years dispatching and I will always consider myself a dispatcher first.

I am thrilled at the prospects of leading this great organization and will lead with you the members at my side, listening to your concerns and accomplishments, learning from you and your experiences and mentoring transparently and inspiring others!

I have prepared myself for leadership in APCO. I have been elected to the Executive Council serving eight years then being elected to the Western Region Board of Directors for four years.

I have been an RPL (Registered Public-Safety Leader) since 2007 and graduated from the first CPE class in 2017. CPE (Certified Public-Safety Executive), has been the impetus to take the step to the highest level of service in APCO. I am honored and thrilled to be both a Senior and Life Member of APCO. I am also a passionate APCO Adjunct Instructor learning from my students.

I am a firm believer in committee work and believe it’s where service to APCO begins whether at a Chapter or National level. Over the years I have served on almost every committee APCO has had to offer. Learning at the grassroots level has been influential for me in my center, at the Montana Chapter level and especially the APCO International level.

My goal with my campaign is to inspire you the members of APCO to find your passion! I have been blessed to find my passion in the public safety profession and especially in APCO International.
