Young Professionals Task Force
The Young Professional Committee creates and implements programs to assist professional members 35 years of age or younger. Works to enhance opportunities for young professional participation by creating a platform to build relationships and to create professional awareness. Encourages young professionals to become active in their community and leaders in the public safety industry.
Goals:
- Create a plan to achieve growth in younger membership.
- Develop a mentor program to begin on the chapter level.
- Select and interview an individual each quarter to
highlight as a young professional in the enews.
- Serve as meet and greet hosts for the Young
Professional Mixer at the annual conference.
- Assist with selecting and hosting a community service project
at the annual conference. (i.e. city clean-up, toiletry drive, etc.)
- Develop an outline for a Young Professional of the Year
Award.
The deadline to sign up is September 10th, 2018. Please note, you must be 35 or younger to participate
