WEBINAR RECORDING: Human trafficking is the acquisition of people by improper means such as force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them. Tracking the number of victims is difficult due to the hidden nature of the crime. Many victims are undocumented or qualified aliens, which also contributes to the uncertainty of statistics. According to the U.S. Dept. of Justice, DOJ-led task forces conducted over 900 investigations in 2011.
